Welcome to the website of the Chair of Technical Dynamics at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Marine Technology at the University of Rostock. Here you will find information about the chair and its staff, the courses offered, the research activities and the technical equipment.  

The engineering courses teach the fundamentals of engineering mechanics and, building on this, the fields of machine dynamics, dynamics of motor vehicles, robotics, dynamics of multi-body systems, elastic multi-body systems and technical vibration theory.  

Research focuses on the dynamics and control of multibody systems with applications in machine and structural dynamics, wind energy technology, vehicle technology, robotics and musculoskeletal biomechanics.
