Industrial Robot Stäubli TX200
The six-axis vertical articulated robot TX200 from Stäubli has a nominal payload capacity of 130 kg.
A special feature of the Stäubli TX200 is its fully enclosed drives, which make the robot particularly well-suited for biomedical applications.
The robot is controlled by Stäubli’s CS8C HP controller. Programming is done using the multitasking-capable interpreter language VAL3. Alternatively, programming via a so-called Low Level Interface (LLI) is also possible. The LLI provides hardware-near interfaces for controlling the robot, which offers significant advantages for research applications compared to conventional controllers.
The robot is equipped with a six-axis force/torque sensor, the FT-Omega-160 from Schunk. In combination with the appropriate control algorithms, this enables hybrid force/position control of the robot.
