Industrial Robot KUKA KR6/2
This robotic system is a vertical articulated robot from the company KUKA.
It has a nominal payload capacity of 6 kg and is operated using the so-called KRC (KUKA Robot Control).
The controller uses a manufacturer-specific programming language called KRL (KUKA Robot Language).
The robotic system is primarily used for testing experimental approaches such as:
force control of robotic systems, and
various hardware-in-the-loop concepts,
as well as for student training and education.
The system is equipped with a compressed air supply for operating tool-changing systems and can optionally be fitted with a compliant force/torque sensor.
Through the technology packages RSI and RSI-Ethernet, very low-level (hardware-near) programming of the system is possible.
In addition, two workstations with the robot simulation software KUKA Sim Pro are available at the institute.
